The American Red Cross is offering immediate financial assistance to individuals and households impacted by recent wildfires in California. Starting January 15, 2025, outreach will begin to those who lived within the fire perimeters of Eaton, Palisades, Hurst, and Kenneth, as identified by Cal OES.
Eligible individuals will be contacted through email, text, or phone call to apply for assistance. If contacted, households can complete the application process virtually by calling 1-800-RED-CROSS. Each household will receive at least three attempts to reach them, with outreach sent in batches of 1500-2500 per day.
This financial assistance is a grant and does not need to be repaid. The Red Cross services are available to all individuals, regardless of nationality, race, gender, or other demographic factors.
