The Need for Storage Solutions

One of the immediate challenges faced by survivors is temporary storage for their belongings. Many families have been displaced and are unsure of where to keep their possessions as they begin the process of rebuilding their homes and their lives.

To meet this need, we are seeking businesses and organizations who can provide temporary storage space for those affected. Whether you own or operate a self-storage facility, a warehouse, or any other type of storage space, your help will allow families to store their items safely while they focus on recovery.

Why Storage is Crucial
Space for Displaced Families: As many homes are either severely damaged or destroyed, survivors need a safe place to store their belongings while they figure out their next steps.
Critical for Rebuilding: Families need access to storage as they clean up their properties, start repairs, and wait for their homes to be deemed habitable again.
Protecting Valuables: Storage space allows survivors to protect important documents, heirlooms, and essential items until they are able to return to a stable living situation.
Other Immediate Services We Need
In addition to storage space, there are several other services that we urgently need in order to provide comprehensive support to the community: To help survivors move their belongings into storage or temporary housing.

As a partner providing storage space or other immediate services, your organization will play a critical role in the disaster recovery process. Not only will you help protect people's belongings and assist with rebuilding efforts, but you'll also be recognized for your generosity and community spirit.

Transportation Services

Tool Rentals or Donation support for partners: For cleanup and home repairs, including gardening tools, power tools, and general household tools.

Volunteer Labor:

For logistical support, including organizing donation drives for partners, helping families pack up, and assisting with relocation efforts.
Temporary Housing: As many survivors are staying with family or in temporary shelters, any businesses that can provide temporary housing options (such as discounted hotel rooms, motels, or vacation rentals) will be critical.

Clean-Up & Construction Services:

Companies offering construction, landscaping, and clean-up services are needed to help restore homes and properties that have been affected by the fires.
